CTO at funded startup

Company:

Magic Crate (www.magiccrate.in) is a funded start-up founded by alumni from IIT, IIM and Georgia Tech that is backed by Industry veterans. It designs, develops and delivers boxes/crates to people’s home every month on a subscription basis. The boxes contain high quality material and instructions for hands on fun activities that children in the age group of 2-12 years can do with their parents. 

Developer:

We are looking for a CTO to lead our product development. Our website is built with Magento Community & we use PHP, MySQL to support ordering, inventory, customer support & analytics. In addition, we will be building a mobile app to support our customers. We need this person to be able to lead a development team in addition to hands-on coding/debugging/code reviews etc.,

Education & Qualification:  

Strong bias for candidates with startup experience. Bachelors in any relevant field.

6-10 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

- Own the product development independently
- Architect scalable, distributed and large scale web and mobile solutions from scratch
- Code for fresh development and to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Keep self-updated with latest technologies in web, mobile and cloud space
- Lead web development efforts, including hiring, mentoring and advising peers
